Brick Stitch (Horizontal Method):
Bring the needle up at A, move over 2 threads and bring the needle down at B. Go up2 threads, move over 2 threads and bring the needle up at C. Move over 2 threads and bring the needle down at D. Continue in this manner through E, F, G and H.
The second row is worked from top to bottom. We start where we left off at H. From H, move over (to the left ) 3 threads, down 1 thread and bring the needle up at I. move over (to the right) 2 threads and bring the needle down at J. Move over 2 threads, down 2 threads and bring the needle up at K. Move over 2 threads and bring the needle down at L. Continue in this manner until the end of the row is reached.
To start a third row (not pictured), work from the bottom up (same as row 1). Continue with a fourth, fifth etc... row, alternately moving up and down.
