Half Cross Stitch (Horizontal Method):
Bring the needle up at A, move up and to the right over one double canvas intersection, bring the needle down at B. Bring the needle up at C, move up and to the right over one double canvas intersection, bring the needle down at D. Bring the needle up at E, move up and to the right over one double canvas intersection, bring the needle down at F. Bring the needle up at G, move up and to the right over one double canvas intersection, bring the needle down at H. This completes the first row of Half Cross Stitches.
Now, turn the canvas around and begin working the second row. (You will need to stand on your head to view the above Diagram upside down.- HA!) Bring the needle up at M, move up and to the right over one double canvas intersection, bring the needle down at I. Continue in this manner until the end of the row. Once this row is complete, turn the canvas, again, and work the next row.
