Beginning where we left off at D, bring the needle up at E, move up over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at F. Bring the needle up at G, move over to the right over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at H. This completes the first Leviathan Stitch. Now, continue on to Diagram 3...
Leviathan Stitch (Diagram 3):
As you can see from this diagram, the second row is worked into the bottom of the first row. This row will be worked in the opposite direction of the first row.
