
Reverse Oblique Stitch (Diagram 1):
This variation of the oblique stitch is basically just a "mirror view" of the stitch. The stitches are worked at an opposite angle to the regular oblique stitch. Bring the needle up at A, move down over two canvas threads and to the right over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at B. Bring the needle up at C, move down over two canvas threads and to the right over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at D. Bring the needle up at E, move down over two canvas threads and to the right over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at F. Bring the needle up at G, move down over two canvas threads and to the right over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at H. Bring the needle up at I, move down over two canvas threads and to the right over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at J. The next row is worked from right to left. Bring the needle up at K, move up over two canvas threads and to the left over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at F. Bring the needle up at L, move up over two canvas threads and to the left over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at D. Bring the needle up at M, move up over two canvas threads and to the left over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at B. Bring the needle up at N, move up over two canvas threads and to the left over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at O. Bring the needle up at P, move up over two canvas threads and to the left over four canvas threads, bring the needle down at Q. And, finally, the last row is worked from left to right in the same manner as the first row.
