site. The answer is simple. I love needlepoint and want to share the knowledge I have gained pertaining to this wonderful hobby over the last 20 or more years. So, one day, I sat down at my computer and started creating a diagram (I believe it was long stitch - the easiest stitch there is). I had previously created a website for my small bookstore - mostly just to promote the brick-and-mortar store - not for online sales. I found the experience of creating a website challenging and interesting. I love a challenge and enjoy anything that will keep me interested. It has taken me about two years to complete this site - the most time-consuming part being the diagrams - ouch! I am still finding stitches that I want to include, so expect many additions in the future. If you know of any stitches that are not included here, feel free to email me with the information. Also, if you find any mistakes (yes, there are a few stitches that were new to me), let me know. My goal is to make Stitchopedia the absolute BEST instructional needlepoint site there is!!!
