The Palace Pattern Stitch is worked in four different directions and consists of straight
stitches. This stitch may be resized to suit your project needs. However, be sure that you do not create stitches that are too long, as they will snag. For a more interesting effect, try working this stitch using alternating colors. The palace pattern stitch may be worked in any direction. Four diagrams have been used to demonstrate this stitch. Clicking on the PRINTABLE VERSION icon, located at the end of the series of diagrams, will direct you to the page to print these instructions.
