PLAITED GOBELIN STITCH
The Plaited Gobelin Stitch is a quick stitch to work. and convenient for working large areas.
Plaited Gobelin Stitch (Diagram 1):
Bring the needle up at A, move up two canvas threads and over to the left one canvas thread, bring the needle down at B. Bring the needle up at C, move up two canvas threads and over to the left one canvas thread, bring the needle down at D. Continue working in this manner until the row is complete at H. Now, continue on to Diagram 2...

Beginning where we left off at H, bring the needle up at I, move up two canvas threads and over to the right one canvas thread, bring the needle down at J. Bring the needle up at K, move up two canvas threads and over to the right one canvas thread, bring the needle down at L. Continue working in this manner until the end of the row. Now, continue on to Diagram 3...
